Built From Real Hospital Experience The development of MEDITECH began in 2017, founded by Edwin Kipruto during his internship at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kenya.While working within the hospital environment, Edwin observed major limitations in the existing hospital management system, FANSoft. The system was slow, outdated, and built using older Java technologies such as AWT, resulting in inefficiencies in critical healthcare operations.Rather than accepting these challenges, he made a bold decision:

Early Development & Pilot PhaseIn 2021,
MEDITECH was officially piloted at Uasin Gishu County Hospital, beginning with the Health Records Department.
